So today I found out that Death Cab For Cutie one of my favorite bands that I have seen in concert (the show was very awesome by the way.) is doing a song for the New Moon soundtrack! What the hell!?!?!?! Okay I am not a huge fan of twilight at all, but that isn’t really the main reason I am totally freaking out about this. For one Death Cab For Cutie is definitely way too indie to be doing a song for a teen fad movie. Also the twilight soundtrack had stuff like Paramore and little bands like that. Death Cab really not like any of those at all. Also I really really really really really don’t want them to get popular, or I should say popular with teenage girls who love twilight. I really don’t want to be walking in the hall next year and hear all these girls saying how much they just LOVE Death Cab For Cutie. Really it is just from the Fucking New Moon soundtrack. That is just going to be horrible. I love Death Cab For Cutie and I really don’t want people to all of a sudden fall in love with them from that. I will be extremely pissed. Seeing as they most likely will only have that one song. I have almost everything by them. I’m really mad at this.
